My Dad the Scientist

Me: Is the Pakistan cricket team any good?

Dad: No. 

Me: ...ok

Dad: Once they beat England, the best team in the world. Then another time they beat Australia. Also the best team in the world. Then they lost to Bangladesh and their team is so so bad. Pakistan even lost to Afghanistan and they don't even have a team. 

Me: That makes no sense. 

Dad: Exactly. 

Me: So they're inconsistent. 

Dad: Right. They only play for themselves.Other countries play as a team but everyone on Pakistan is saying 'look at me, look at me.' 

Me: Sounds like they need a new coach. 

(ignoring me)

Dad: They have this guy they call Boom Boom Afridi

Me: What?

Dad: His name is Shahid but they call him Boom Boom. He hits the ball and it goes Boom. It's stupid.

Me:...ok

Dad: It's like, if you are already losing, you don't just go up to bat and hit the ball as hard as you can. He does that. The other team catches it and Boom Boom is out. 

Me: They definitely need a new coach.

Dad: They need a psychiatrist.
